17th-Annual Wonderland Award Submissions Due April 1

Wonderland Award

The USC Libraries are now accepting Wonderland Award submissions through April 1, 2022. Now in its seventeenth year, the annual contest encourages new creative work and scholarship related to the work of Lewis Carroll—the pen name of English mathematician, polymath, and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland author Charles Dodgson—and promotes the use of the USC Libraries' G. Edward Cassady, M.D., and Margaret Elizabeth Cassady, R.N., Lewis Carroll Collection.

Students enrolled in accredited California colleges and universities are eligible to enter. First prize is $3,000, and second prize is $1,500. All submissions become part of the Wonderland Award archive in the USC Libraries' Special Collections. Winners will be announced at a Wonderland Award ceremony on April 22, 2022.

Full rules, guidelines, and judging criteria are available at the Wonderland Award homepage.
