Hannah Schilperoort's research interests include library and information science, information literacy instruction and assessment in online/hybrid education, LGBTQIA+ health and inclusion in libraries and health sciences education, health equity in health sciences education, health sciences systematic reviews, organizational change and leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategic planning and assessment in academic libraries, health sciences libraries, and higher education.
Responsibilities
As Head of the Wilson Dental Library, Hannah Schilperoort:
- Provides oversight of daily operations and facilities, information literacy instruction, programming, outreach, reference and research services, special collections and archives, and collection development for the Wilson Dental Library.
- Ensures stakeholders at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry are aware of library services, resources, and collections.
- Partners with Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry stakeholders to enhance educational and research resources and programming for health equity and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Identifies and assesses needs of School of Dentistry and other university partners to develop new and enhance existing services, programs, and collaborations.
