Alumni Resources

USC Alumni do not have remote access to online library resources or databases.

Please view the USC Libraries Borrowing and Access Privileges page for information about limited onsite library access available to USC alumni and how to apply for the onsite access.

Free databases available after graduation:

PubMed Central is a free archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM). In keeping with NLM’s legislative mandate to collect and preserve the biomedical literature, PMC serves as a digital counterpart to NLM’s extensive print journal collection.

PubMed PubMed includes all PMC content, but also includes paid content.

For a more complete list of resources, view the Health Sciences Free Resources guide

Available through the American Dental Association membership:

The American Dental Association offers a wealth of benefits for members. They offer access to their electronic resource collection via their ADA Library & Archives. Simply log-in with your membership credentials to access core dental journal titles, Dynamed Plus, and the Cochrane Library.  The ADA’s goal is to provide you with access to evidence-based materials throughout your career.

Print books available to alumni:

Print books are available for limited check out to our alumni. More information about USC Libraries alumni accounts and borrowing privileges can be found at USC Libraries Alumni & Friends. If you have any questions, please call 213-740-6476 or e-mail us at wdl@usc.edu
