Your Eligibility

Borrower accounts are issued free to USC affiliated users and members of additional designated groups. 

USC Students, Faculty, Staff

Your borrower account allows you to:

• borrow books and renew through USC catalog or in person
• access licensed online journals and books: use USC NetID and password
• use Norris computer workstations: use USC NetID and password
• request items from other libraries: register for an Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services (IDD) account
• borrow up to 25 items at a time

Staff of USC-affiliated Hospitals

• LA General Medical Center
• Barlow Respiratory Hospital
• Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles
• Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic Downtown  Los Angeles
• PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital
• House Ear Institute
• Rancho Los Amigos Hospital
• White Memorial Medical Center

Must be a full time employee of the institution listed above and provide current employment ID/badge

Your borrower account allows you to:

• use designated computer workstations; request at Loan Desk
• borrow up to 15 items at a time

Designated USC Alumni & Faculty of Other Institutions

Accounts are available to:

• USC emeriti (faculty or staff)
• USC Alumni
• Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School faculty
• Francisco Bravo MedCORE or STARR Program student
• Friends of the Norris Medical Library

Your account allows you to:

• borrow books and renew through USC catalog or in person
• use designated computer workstations; request at Loan Desk
• borrow up to 10 items at a time
